Seeking Associate Artistic Directors, Associate Designers, and Associate Performing Artists
The Landless Theatre Company was founded in 2003 by a collective of artists who shared a common mission to cultivate new and diverse audiences for live theatre. Over the years, most of our founding artists have moved on to other artistic pursuits. In recognition of the need for more diversity, equity, and inclusion in DC theater, we are now accepting applications for new Company Members. We seek diverse artists in all theatre disciplines who believe in the mission of Landless Theatre Company, and who want to lead the artistic direction of our theatre company.
Desired Qualities and Qualifications:
* Training, Education, and/or equivalent professional experience in your artistic discipline
* Non-union affiliation
* Appreciation for the Landless Theatre's history, mission, and for off-beat, quirky, edgy, and/or unique material
* A combination of artistic and/or arts business skills
* Flexibility, compassion, and respect for diverse artists and diverse art
* Willingness to pitch in and contribute to every aspect of Company management
* Interest in working across the region between DC and Frederick, MD
* A desire to be a PAINTER, not just the PAINT.
Help us hit the "reset" and "refresh" button as we use this period of COVID-19 shutdown to reframe and rebuild the infrastructure of our company.
