LANDLESS PLAY COMPETITION! "SO BAD, IT'S GOOD!"
|
PLAY TITLE: Teen Flush
PLAYWRIGHT: Krista Knight
SIMON SHAKESPEARE SAYS:
"Ew."
RANDY SHAKESPEARE SAYS:
"This makes me feel dirty,
dawg, and I kinda like it."
PAULA SHAKESPEARE SAYS:
"I think I visited these girls a
few times... (alcoholic
drug-induced babble, etc.)"
"In a town not unlike a town outside your city. In a
public restroom outside a place you stop for gas.
Two teenagers who once sold you Publix lemonade
disguised as home-made, have set up a business.
For a nominal fee, they'll get rid of your problem—
because if you don't want your parents to find out,
if you don't want your name called out upon the
lips of the disenfranchised pro-lifers as you slink
into the public clinic, they're all you've got left.
Plus they can cut you a deal. Plan B is readily
available and the 'Pull Out' method is proving a
remarkable 92% rate of accuracy, so our teenage
heroines must try more drastic means to find a
clientele. Set in various girls bathrooms, what we
don't see behind the three stall doors allow
anything to be happening. Until only one thing is.."

KIM:
The bathroom is a place you can guarantee no one will be looking.
The bathroom is a only place anything could be happening.
Until only one thing is.
Sometimes you have to show people their worst nightmare because otherwise they’ll just
keep carrying on trying to make it real for themselves.
You do it to them—so they won’t do it to themselves.

Flushing.
People, they want to see what’s behind the stall doors like they want to see into anything
you won’t let them.
So sometimes, you let them.
If people want to see what’s behind it.
The flushing stops.
They will.
KT comes out of the stall.
Kim taps on one of the stalls.
Kim and KT take out their cell phones and exit.
