I'm sorry I upset you.
DR. VINTAGE
I'm not upset. And you didn't do anything wrong. I've chosen
not to continue only because I feel you're entitled to a
better opportunity to work on your issues. I like to think
I'm good at what I do. And I'm sure in time I could help you.
But it could take weeks or even months to for you break
through this extreme anxiety caused by-- by my appearance.
BUTTERFLY
Why do you have to be so unflappable? Don't you feel pissed
off, or --or flattered, or anything?
DR. VINTAGE
My feelings--
BUTTERFLY
Aren't the issue here, I know. But-- I came on to you!
DR. VINTAGE
Arthur, I don't mean to be hurtful, but you're not all that
unique. It's extremely common for clients to develop romantic
feelings for their therapists... Although, I must say,
fifteen minutes is a personal record for me.
BUTTERFLY
Really?
DR. VINTAGE
Yes. Now, I'm going to give you a referral.
(She hands a piece of paper to
Butterfly.)
I think you and Roger will get along well. He works with a
lot of artists.
BUTTERFLY
Thank you. I guess I'm leaving now, huh?

Mm hm. I think that would be best.
